Multidisciplinary research group BIOINFO was formed in 2016 as a synergy of ideas and projects of scientists and researchers of the Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Sarajevo. The primary goal of the research group is the development of bioinformatics tools for the analysis of genomic and proteomic sequences (including structural data), complex analysis of existing molecular genetic data, and data obtained by the realization of projects in the future, the development of specific biological databases, and access to decision making in the management of biological resources. The above research group closely scientific and professional collaborate with similar research groups in Croatia. Current coordinator of the BIOINFO multidisciplinary group is prof. dr. Naris Pojskić, scientific advisor at INGEB. |
Multidisciplinarna istraživačka grupa BIOINFO formirana je 2016. godine kao sinergija ideja i projekata naučnika i istraživača Instituta za genetičko inženjerstvo i biotehnologiju, Elektrotehničkog fakulteta i Prirodno-matematičkog fakulteta Univerziteta u Sarajevu. Primarni cilj istraživačke grupe je razvoj bioinformatičkih alata za analize genomskih i proteomskih sekvenci (uključujući strukturne podatke), kompleksna analiza postojećih molekularno-genetičkih podataka, kao i podataka dobijenih realizacijom projekata u budućnosti, razvoj specifičnih bioloških baza podataka, te decision making pristupa u upravljanju biološkim resursima. Navedena istraživačka grupa usko naučno i stručno sarađuje sa sličnim istraživačkim grupama u Republici Hrvatskoj. Trenutni koordinator BIOINFO multidisciplinarne grupe je prof. dr. Naris Pojskić, naučni savjetnik INGEB-a. |
